The Law Office of Kathleen Lynch concentrates its practice solely on intellectual property law.  The practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law including patent preparation and prosecution, providing legal opinions on patentability, patent validity and infringement, and freedom to operate.

The practice further provides legal advice on any transactional matter relating to intellectual property including nondisclosure, licensing, joint venture formation, sale of IP assets, and the like. The practice further focuses on IP asset management, trademark law, including trademark filing and prosecution, and copyright and trade secret law.

Ms. Lynch has practiced intellectual property law for approximately 20 years.  Her multi-faceted work background provides her with a unique perspective gained from her work in private practice, university and corporate environments.  Ms. Lynch is able to provide a unique perspective to all clients to obtain the best result for her clients.

Ms. Lynch offers a wide variety of expertise in many areas of technology including but not limited to medical devices, textiles, security systems, gaming technology, pulp and paper technology, packaging technology, renewable energy technologies and more. 

Ms. Lynch is a member of the North Carolina Bar, the State Bar of Georgia and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Ms. Lynch is a graduate of Franklin Pierce Law Center specializing in intellectual property law, and has a mechanical engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
